Les Petites Frimousses
Les Petites Frimousses education centre is a place of learning, growth and stimulation for children in Ottawa’s francophone community. The Centre’s current capacity is 25 children, 10 infants and 15 toddlers.]
Who is this service for?
- Infants from birth to 18 months old
- Toddlers from 18 months to 2½ years old
The baby/toddler program supports the Young Parents program, by prioritizing requests from young parents in the program for a space at the educational centre.

L’Image Specialized Education Centre is a place of learning, growth and stimulation for children with special communication and socialization, specifically children with an autism diagnosis.
Who is this service for?
- Children from 18 months to 6 years old
- Children with special needs
It provides children with learning opportunities and the support they need to develop their cognitive, languages, motor, social, and affective skills.

Centre Éducatif Renée Tassé (CERT)
CERT is an inclusive learning environment for francophone children in Ottawa. Located at Collège La Cité, it is an educational observation space for students in the early childhood education program. The capacity is 98 children as of January 4, 2020 : 10 infants, 30 toddlers, 48 preschoolers and 10 inclusion places of all ages for children with special needs.
Who is this service for?
- Infants from birth to 18 months old
- Toddlers from 18 months to 2½ years old
- Preschoolers from 2 ½ years to 5 years old
The Education centre program supports La Cité students and staff members by giving them the priority for CERT space requests.
The Education Centre also offers a childcare service for the GENA program which gives newcomers the opportunity to take a language course in order to help them adapt to Canada.
The Education Centre also welcomes children from the francophone community, in all its diversity.
