La Boussole

La Boussole’s mission is to offer psychosocial support services to the student population, along with evaluations and academic accommodation recommendations for students with handicaps. Furthermore, Collège La Cité employees can rely on La Boussole services to support and guide them in their interventions with students experiencing difficulties (anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, trauma, etc.). La Boussole also serves an inclusion role by offering an informal, judgment-free space where issues affecting students can be discussed openly.

The interdisciplinary La Boussole team is made up of:

• Occupational therapists
• Psychologists
• Psychotherapists
• Social workers

all qualified professionals in their respective fields.

• Psychosocial support services for all students;
• Evaluation of academic accommodation measures for students with handicaps; 
• Support for college staff regarding students.

All three services are offered through a “one-stop shop”, by making a CHOICE appointment.

Services are offered to students and staff with or without an appointment. They can be accessed:

• in person in room C-1030 at Collège La Cité.

Service hours are Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm. La Boussole professionals are available during the school year as well as over the summer.
